• 公共政策の専門家として研究と実践を往復する中で、基本の大切さを痛感しました。基本とは「問題を発見する」「論理的に仮説を立てる」「仮説実行の合意を形成する」「仮説を実行する」「仮説と現実の差を検証する」「検証から教訓を導き出す」「教訓を新たな仮説に反映させる」……この繰り返しで問題を解決することです。一般的には、PDCAサイクルと呼びます。大学は、上記の基本のうち「問題を発見する」「論理的に仮説を立てる」「仮説実行の合意を形成する」を体系的にトレーニングします。これを総合したものが卒業論文・研究になります。わたしの担当する講義は、政治・経済・環境分野の基礎的な知見と上記の３能力を身につけるよう、組み立てています。いずれも社会人の土台として必要なものです。分かりやすい講義を心がけますので、誠実な姿勢で受講していただけると嬉しく思います。
