The workload of parcel delivery drivers has increased in response to the growth of the Internet shopping market. From 2024, limit of 960 hours of overtime work per year will eliminate the long working hours of truck drivers. But, the income of truck drivers is partly dependent on performance-based wages, and it is assumed that shortening working hours will lead to decrease drivers' income. This study examined the impact of the working hour restrictions on the parcel service market through a questionnaire to parcel delivery drivers. The results show that the need to increase the income of parcel delivery drivers and solve the subcontract structure.
