Poverty and inequality are common problems today, and war exacerbates these challenges. War not only affects the economy but
also erodes human capital and mental health, deepens inequality, and overall contributes to long-term poverty. I will contribute my
thoughts about the effects of war as an economist through my own encounters with post-war hardships during my youth.
