In this paper, we proposed teaching materials to quickly acquire carpenter skills of roof framing geometry. Conventionally, net drawing teaching materials were used to learn roof framing geometry, but these need a long learning period. Therefore, we developed the teaching materials that utilize the 3D-CAD and the 3D-printer. Moreover, as a result of verification of 21 students majoring in architecture, it was found that the proposed teaching materials had a large educational effect. In addition, with regard to an order to use the teaching materials, it turned out that the order of using 3D-model teaching materials first is appropriate.
